Summary for two weeks' lectures

Before enrolling in CSC165H1, I thought that computer science was just a simple version of mathematics related to computer. Nevertheless, as the class continues, computer science keeps impressing me as a bridge that establishes the mutual communication between developers and the computer; meanwhile, this course also guide me to explore deeper and deeper how precise and efficient artificial intelligence could achieve. On my way of exploration, I did not expect the challenge coming so soon when it was just the second class, yet the quantifiers confused me at the beginning of the lecture. Luckily, the conversation between the professor and students clearly showed me the path to understand this term. All in all, two weeks' observation lead me to redefine computer science as an interesting course with the basis of math while involves more than just numbers. I hope that I can do better in this course and one practical way for me to achieve so is to first improving my logic thinking ability. Previewing related course material before every lecture and tutorial would also facilitate my learning.
